A customer has ISA Server 2006, and now wants to start implementing Windows 8 to users company.
They have ISA rules that ask for authentication, rules that allow traffic for specific users or groups.
Configuring proxy settings in internet options of IE 10, they can Access internet resources with both versions of IE, the explorer and the Metro one. BUT the Metro Apps do not work.
So searching in the internet, I found the following command so the Metro Apps take in count IE proxy settings,
Netsh winhttp import proxy source=ie
Some Metro Apps Work fine, but others not. The Metro Apps that still do not work are, Mail, and Contact. Exactly those Apps are the ones that use the Passport/Microsoft account in order to synchronize mails and contact information.
We have tried using ISA or TMG Firewall Client and this do not make difference.
Logging in ISA Server is seems like Mail or Contact Apps do not present credentials when they contact ISA Server, and the others Metro Apps yes they do.
Anyone have a solution to this problem?
