I heard that with ISA 2006 SP1, you do not need a separate NIC on each ISA Array member just for intra-array communication. So, which of the nics are used for that (internal nics or external nics)?
With 2 ISA servers with 2 nics each, where does the IP address used to provide fault tolerance between two servers come from so that if one server is down or is in the middle of rebooting, clients can still work with the other running ISA server to get access to the internet? That sounds like that has to be a 5th IP address, but there would only be 4 NICs total combined between 2 servers.
