I'm trying to figure out the most simple way to have fault tolerance so users don't lose access to the Internet when one ISA server is being rebooted.
When I did a search, I found this thread
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/Forefrontedgesetup/thread/f45aaef1-d681-4eb4-88f0-57dcd2826c41/
and the last comment said all you need to do is have the CSS on both servers, but I don't understand how the clients would know to communicate with the second ISA server when the first is down since there is no client side option for primary and secondary
proxy server.
If you have 2 ISA servers, is it mandatory to configure NLB in order to prevent clients from losing Internet access during a server reboot or is there a more simple option?
