Forefront TMG 2010 (full updates) with W2k8std
Situation
I have create an access rule with and URL Set as a destination, for all users, all outbound protocols. The url set contain certain websites that the users needs to get in, the main site requiere credentials to allow the access, for that reason I've created the access rule with access for All Users and also I've installed the TMG Client in the user workstation. So when the user try to get in to the website (which exist in the url set) it get in, then the website popup a new windows to allow the user to enter the credentials (username/password) the user put the credentials, then clic en login, but nothing happen, its to say the user cannot log on to the website. I do a tracking in TMG and I didn't see anything that could be causing the user cannot do successfully the authentication process agains the website. no denies access, no special ports, etc, everything sees normal.
parallelly, I have create another rule, who allow also All users, all outbound protocols, but without the url set, instead I put External, do the test with the user, which also have the TMG client enable, and with this access rule, the access its successfully, its to say, the user get in to the website, the authentication window popup, then the user put his credentials for this website, and the access its successfully.of course I did the tracking to see if maybe there is another website that I missing in the url set created in the other access rule, but surprisingly there are the same website.
Of course I cannot allow this kind of access, remember that the 2nd rule has External as a destination. and need to restrict this access with the url set.
