Need your Inputs & advice on TMG 2010?

Basically I've setup a small private test lab whose domain name is already registered by 3rd party company. Hence I cannot register the domain to test it.

Setup is like this:

1 domain controller, collocated with DNS, DHCP & CA

2 Hub/Cas servers in NLB

2 Mailbox Servers in DAG

1 TMG with 2 NICS ( natting has been done on external NIC IP to real public IP)

the rest are file servers, lync servers, clients etc.

I setup TMG and configured many rules. Now wanted to test if I can access OWA from internet using this format

https:\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\owa\ or https:\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443\owa\ but it didn't work. See I don't have any A record in public DNS.

Then I opened my production email OWA Page and in the logon screen , I copied the URL from the browser and changed the IP to public IP. This re-loads the page and shows me OWA Page, not sure if that is my test lab or prodn. I see test lab cert now.

When I sign-in it fails to login.

Is there a way I can be sure that TMG is setup correctly by simulating the behavior.

Thanks

Fahad
