Hi,
We have deployed TMG 2010 in our client environment. TMG is in Workgroup and is deployed with Single Network Topology. TMG version is 7.0.9193.540.
We have published an Internal SharePoint site on Internet with NO Authentication at TMG. The site is internally running in default zone with Form based authentication. Users get the form to authenticate themselves when they hit the URL on Internet and will be redirected to the homepage after providing the authentication credentials.
While accessing the same FBA site on the internet with SSL connection, we are getting the login page but though we use the right credentials(same credentials which we used internally and logged in), yet the user is not authenticatedand doesn't reach the home page and instead we are getting the same login page without any error message. While checking the logs and live reports at TMG as well as the logs at the server which does the authentication for this site, we could see that the authentication request never reached the authentication server.
As a part of troubleshooting, we disabled SSL connections to the site at the Listener and tried logging in to the site with out an SSL connection. And this time it gets authenticated and we are redirected to the homepage. We need to fix the issue so that
the site is accessible using an SSL connection only.
Is the a seen issue? What could be possibly going wrong in the SSL connection? We need a urgent fix for this.
Quick help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Prajul
