I'm hoping someone can help with this. Please ask for any further information if i have missed something important out.
I have a TMG server running all updates and it is used as the default gateway for all machines on the domain.
I recently had an issue with our internal WSUS server (3.0 SP2) in that it wouldn't download updates.
After checking it seems that it can download the metadata for the updates but can't download the update itself.
I get the following error in WSUS (windowsupdate.log) - DnldMgrError 0x8024401f occurred while downloading update; notifying dependent calls.
And the below error in TMG. The TMG server is operating in Enterprise mode with NLB (albeit NLB is running the other TMG server is not part of the array yet after being rebuilt) and i can't uncheck the 'web proxy' application filter anywhere in the console.
