I am really struggling with what should be a really simple process. I am testing SFTP connectivity with a 3rd party client. During the test phase they dont want to use the standrad SSH/22 - so we have a custom port 4080 which has been provided.
On our ISA Server we have an existing rule which allows port 4080 from 'Everywhere' to an internal host....(not digressing)
Now although I have created a user defined protocol and configured a new Published rule using 4080 to Allow inbound traffic from the external host > SFTP server - when the 3rd party try to connect they are hitting the 'other' published rule (as above) which is using port 4080 from Everywhere and the connection is dropped...
What am I doing wrong?!!
Apologies for potentially a daft question from an ISA novice.
